What we love about this stay
Yr Hen Ysgubor is the kind of place you have to earn — tucked into Bottwnog on the Llŷn Peninsula, it rewards those who slow down. Light the fireplace your first evening and don't rush to go anywhere. The garden catches late afternoon sun beautifully, so bring a bottle from the Pwllheli deli and settle in around five. Drive to Nefyn's coastal path before breakfast one morning — the light on Caernarfon Bay at that hour is extraordinary. Stock the kitchen at Criccieth on your way in; the town's small shops are better than any supermarket detour. Skip the golf unless you play — your time is better spent walking the headlands. This is a place that feels quietly private, almost hidden, and that's exactly the point.

Spent a beautiful Friday evening with some friends at this delightful restaurant. We didn't have any reservation as we decided to go there at the spur of the moment. The staffs were very nice and offered us a beautiful chamber with spacious couches and a gorgeous view of the city. One of our friends was not according to the dress code, so he was offered a clean blazer( true to his size!!) Our waitress Niah was jovial and very helpful. Breathtaking views, amazing drinks( definitely most delicious cocktails), and wonderful ambiance. Will definitely come back soon.

Seafood tower was amazing. Filet was cooked to perfection. Poached pear dessert was surprisingly delicious. Wonderful staff made the evening more enjoyable.

We had an incredible experience celebrating my 25th anniversary at this fantastic venue. The atmosphere was perfect, and every detail contributed to a memorable day. We truly loved everything about it!

The view was amazing if you got the seats on the right side. They had two sides - the bar area and the sitting area. The service was really good as the staff would come and introduce the wine. The alcohol was in general of very good quality. However, the food was just so-so. We ordered a pork belly and an octopus - both of them were disappointing as they were overcooked and probably a wrong choice of cut.

Bygone is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Baltimore, and our visit lived up to its stellar reputation. Located on the top floor of the Four Seasons, the restaurant offers stunning, immaculate views of the city, especially at night. It's the perfect setting for a celebration, whether it's an anniversary, a romantic date, or even a business dinner. The service was impeccable, and the hospitality was top-notch. Our waitress was attentive and added to the overall experience. As expected for a high-end establishment, the prices reflect the quality, but you truly get what you pay for. The food was delicious and well-prepared, complementing the unbeatable atmosphere. We visited in the winter, so it was cold outside, but the restaurant does offer outdoor seating with breathtaking views of Baltimore for those willing to brave the chill. If you haven’t had a chance to dine here, I highly recommend visiting at least once. It’s a memorable experience that’s worth the splurge for the exceptional quality all around.
