Sleep in the treehouse cabin — the main cabin is lovely, but waking up at canopy level with mist threading through the pines is the whole point of coming here. Time your first hot tub soak for just before dawn; the steam rises into cold air while the forest slowly takes shape around you, and it's genuinely transportative. Stock up on groceries before you arrive — Warfordsburg is remote by design, and the nearest real store is a drive. The treehouse kitchen is well-equipped, so lean into cooking something slow. Once evening hits, skip the screens entirely. The fire pit under string lights with zero light pollution overhead delivers the kind of quiet that recalibrates you. Three hundred acres means you won't see another soul on the trails, which is exactly the point.

A great stay in a peaceful location - perfect for a retreat for solitude with a group, and the two properties are close enough to each other that it feels like staying in one place! We did have a little bit of difficulty with communication with the host - although Landon was very responsive and friendly, he didn't seem to know very much about the property and the wifi instructions were out of date so we had to find the password on a brochure in the cabin. Your mileage might vary there, but all things said I was really happy we stayed here - it was a great price for a cozy stay for a group. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This place is amazing, and the hosts are great. Jon is an absolute treasure. If you’re struggling with the wifi, the code is on a brochure under the TV.

Beautiful views. The cabin was quaint and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. The host checked in on us and was responsive. We would book again.

Beautiful secluded place to stay. Expect glamping style situations. If you are expecting pristine hotel accommodations this isn't for you. But if you like to have the necessities like a bed, heat and/or air-conditioning, fridge, stove, microwave but don't mind a muddy driveway if it rains for multiple days (fun for Jeeps 😂) a campfire and outdoor bugs occasionally then this place is worth it. We stayed here for a girls week and we did laugh about the tree houses low water pressure and that we had to share some kitchen utensils, etc between the two houses. My sisters equinox didn't care for the driveway but my Jeep loved it. Beautiful and serene environment with the occasional Appalachian eerie noises in the woods way off. Quite an experience with unforgettable memories. There was no lid on the outdoor trash bin so the critters still got in the trash. Water pressure is terrible in the treehouse shower, but it's fine in the main house. Over all I'd definitely stay again!!!!
