Bring your own vinyl — the record player here deserves better than silence, and the acoustics in that A-frame pitch are surprisingly warm. The firepit out back is the real living room after dark; stock up on good cheese and a bottle from Hermit Thrush Brewery in town before you settle in. Mornings, make coffee on the gas stove and take it to the deck — the light filtering through the trees around 7:30 a.m. is the quietest, most rewarding moment you'll get. Skip dining out at least one night and cook something proper in that kitchen; it's better equipped than you'd expect. Lake Raponda is a five-minute drive, not a scene — just still water and birdsong. That's the whole point.

Great little A-frame in VT! Wildwood Collective was very responsive and helpful when plans changed.

We are A-frame enthusiasts and this place exceeded our expectations.
Our three favourite features were:
- the comfortable living area (with fireplace and an outlook onto the back yard)
- the thoughtful, minimalist style. Everything in the house felt like it had been carefully selected
- the renovation preserves the feel of a 1950s cabin but is warm and modern.
The location is also excellent! So much to do nearby! But also plenty to occupy yourself in the cabin (puzzles!).
